Ciara 'Gimmee Dat'-  The Grammy award winning superstar Ciara has once again produced an outlandishly bass heavy album titled Basic Instinct. The first single from the album 'Gimmie Dat' is lavished with repetitive,  fast paced lyrics, showing that Ciara hasn't left her crunk roots too far behind. Three number one singles to top from her previous hit album 'Goodies' means the Queen of Crunk has a lot to live up to, but I don't doubt that she'll make it a second time round.

My Chemical Romance 'Scarecrow'- Set apart form the usual 'emotive' theme, MCR have produced a song that defies what we thought they were only capable of; a few lyrically cliche songs and the attire to go with it. Gerard Ways vocals come across understated, barely even a whisper in parts, which really lets the song down. But the new comic book hero look is far from being only a novelty. Their sound hasn't completely changed, and the handful of MCR fans that are left out there will be delighted with what has been produced.

Cee Lo Green 'Bodies'- 'They said that shivelry is dead' and by Cee Lo Green's means it most certainly is not.The recent phenomenon that is Cee Lo Green uses sensual lyrics and a voice so purely unique, that it goes beyond turning heads. This eerily soulful song personifies Cee Lo's voice with perfection. A hit follow up to 'Fuck You'? Not so sure about that, but it's not to say what a well crafted song.
