MAGAZINE DESIGN LAYOUT 

When looking at how I intend to display my magazine layout, I will take inspiration from a number of music magazines already in cirrculation. I want to achieve the musical messyness portrayed in Kerrang, which could largely be displayed through the actual content of the piece. After looking at Q magazine, there are many elements I wish to incorporate into my design, mainly the clean, sophistocated look. I've understood that not using the same font throughout my piece will add interest and not look so monotonous. However, I think it is important to keep to a slight specific colour scheme; stciking to 4 bold colours and to use them cleverly throughout my design; such as using one colour to represent a particular section of the magazine- blue for reviews, green for features, etc.
